6 parts vanilla flavored vodka
1 part Calvados
1 part dry vermouth
Apple slice

Combine liquid ingredients in a cocktail shaker with cracked ice and shake well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with a thin piece of apple.

Its only appropriate that I start out with my favorite bloody mary recipe. This one is a good treat on those hot summer days.

1 part vodka to 3 parts clamato tomato cocktail
1/2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
5-8 drops of Tabasco hot sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
2 green olives
1 sprig of fresh celery

Pour over ice and serve.
